Next up or Matt Barnes' men is Hanley Town on Saturday in the league. Hanley like ourselves have progressed to the 1st round of the Vase this season after beating Coventry Sphinx with a 97th minute winner on Saturday just gone. Town will be wary of Hanley after the home fixture at the Silentnight Beds Stadium last season when they belied their league position and soundly beat Town 4-1 after a change of manager. In the league this season they have had a mixed bag of results with their only win so far coming at Winsford. Hanley avoided relegation last year after a poor start to the season picked up after Town played them and their new manager took back over in January. Josh Thorpe appears to be a man in form this season so Town will no doubt be keeping a close eye on him.
