Town travelled to Hanley hopeful of building on their win against Northallerton but were soundly beaten by Hanley 3-0. Tim Sanders deservedly put Hanley in front before making it 2-0 after 38 mins. Hanley wrapped up the points in the last min when Neville Thompson scored. Town have Litherland at home next week and will be hoping to bounce back. More worrying is the inconsistency that seems to be blighting Town at the minute.
