The work never stops at the ground, operation groundworks is well underway with quotes attained for the tarmaccing at the back of the changing rooms this week. Geoff Wilkinson paid the club a visit on the day we played Longridge and had a few improvements that needed to be undertaken. 2 new seats have been installed in the Sewer end to take the seating capacity to 100 seats which complies with the Evo Stik requirements. Also the Away dugout has had the perspex replaced and signs are going up around the Ground. On top of this United Utilities seem confident the fence will be back up by the end of October at the latest. The pitch perimeter is nearly complete now with the wood from the old fence being reused and New sponsor boards have started to be erected.
After these improvements have been finished the club will be looking to extend the Kitchen and the cold room on the back of the clubhouse to further the ability of the clubhouse to function properly.
